The appearance and tone of the anal region can deteriorate over time. Poor bowel habits, childbearing, anal sex, hormonal changes, aging, and anorectal diseases can result in skin discoloration, skin tags, hemorrhoids, fissures, and wrinkles. A thorough history and anorectal exam are crucial to determine no underlying diseases. Once complete, customized goals will be made to restore the form and cosmetic appearance you desire. As a double-board-certified colorectal surgeon, Dr. Moore will work with you using state-of-the-art technology to achieve the best treatment results for you.

Dr. Moore earned her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in 1991. She went on to complete her general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, then later acquired additional specialty training in colon and rectal surgery at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She has proudly served as chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and successfully founded the Colorectal Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai, where she served as director for ten years.

When not treating patients, Dr. Moore loves to teach, travel, and enjoys skiing with family and friends.
